The Grade 8 Trip to Washington, DC, provides students with an immersive learning experience that directly connects to their history curriculum. Through visits to important national landmarks and institutions, students gain a deeper understanding of the foundations of American democracy. Beyond the halls of government, students will explore inspiring monuments, memorials, the Holocaust Museum, the National Museum of African American History and Culture, and the Spy Museum, which bring American history to life. After full days of discovery, evenings provide time for fun activities and opportunities for students to strengthen friendships and create lasting memories together.
Participants must be entering grades 8.
