Dwight London Choral Festival

Students in grades 8-12 in good academic standing are invited to participate in this program, you do NOT need to be in the Dwight Choir in order to participate.  Workshops and classes will be held by The Dwight Schools' Music Departments, providing an engaging and educational way to learn a range of music styles. Students will improve their vocal technique, sharpen their sight-reading skills, and explore choral singing in a wide variety of ensembles.

This program will provide a wonderful opportunity for student-performers to collaborate with peers from London, Seoul, Shanghai, and Dubai in advance of our 2025 Global Music Concert. The Choir Festival will conclude with a concert featuring the pieces explored during the program. 

Program highlights include:

• Workshops and classes led by Dwight's global vocal teachers

• Sectional, full choir, and band rehearsals

• A final showcase at the "artsdepot" art and performance center in Finchley, London

• Cultural experiences, including excursions to music venues and a West End show; and sightseeing around London
