The Dwight Middle School Grand Circle Adventure is a five-day experiential learning journey through some of the most iconic landscapes of the American Southwest. Beginning in Phoenix, students travel through Sedona, Flagstaff, the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, and Las Vegas, combining outdoor adventure, environmental education, and team building. Along the way, students will explore the stunning red rock formations of Sedona, hike the South Kaibab Trail to Ooh Ahh Point in the Grand Canyon, and learn about the region's unique geology and cultural history through visits to sites such as Wupatki National Monument and the Navajo Bridge.
Participants must currently be in grades 5 to 8.
